Men's Basketball Wins Against Penn State Greater Allegheny

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre men's basketball team won their home game against Penn State Greater Allegheny 94-68 on Friday night. The team improved to 10-9 overall and 7-3 in the PSUAC. The Mountain Lions started and ended the game strong. The team never trailed in the game, which isn't uncommon for them since they have not trailed going into half-time since they played King's College. It was also an historic night in Penn State Wilkes-Barre men's basketball. Denzel Mensah needed 19 points to tie the University's all-time career scoring record. In the game he contributed 21 points, 9 assists and 7 rebounds and in doing so, became Penn State Wilkes-Barre's all-time leading scorer with 1067 points (and counting). Robert Heft went 5-10 from 3-point range and had 19 total points. AJ Jones also contributed to the night with his double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds. The team will look to continue their winning streak against Penn State Beaver at home on Saturday, January 31st at 5pm.
