The Penn State Wilkes-Barre men's basketball team won their opening home playoff game vs. Penn State Worthington Scranton Wednesday evening, 81-74 in overtime. The team improved to 14-11 and 11-5 in PSUAC play. The night was energetic, to say the least. The team trailed going into half-time, but rallied back in the second half to push it into overtime. The team had some close calls toward the end but came out on top. The team was lead in scoring and assists by Denzel Mensah's 20 points and 10 rebounds. Emmanuel Young also contributed 19 points and 9 rebounds. With the win, the team will travel to Penn State York on Saturday at 1pm for their semi-final game. The winner of that game goes on to State College to play in the Bryce Jordan Center next Tuesday!
