DALLAS, Pa. — Penn State Wilkes-Barre held its spring 2022 commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 7, in the campus’ Athletic and Recreation Building. Degrees were conferred to graduates in a ceremony attended by families, friends and supporters of the campus.
Penn State alumnus Will Beekman, general manager at the ASM Global-managed Mohegan Sun Area in Wilkes-Barre and a member of Penn State Wilkes-Barre advisory board, served as this year’s commencement speaker. As both a venue manager and talent buyer, he led the Kirby Center to a top-100 ranking among worldwide theaters and is now continuing that success in the arena format.
