An Art-Terrific Summertime Camp
Art campers will learn basic drawing techniques and explore many fantastic art forms using different media. As we cut, draw, paint, glitter, glue, rub pastels, and make puppets together, we will be developing our storytelling and team-building skills. Come join us for a fun-filled week of artistic connections and adventure!
Golf Camp (Co-Ed)
Learn the fundamentals of grips, swings, proper body position, and clubs. Play at the Lehman Golf Club on Friday, weather permitting. Bring clubs and a drink each day.
Lil’ Lionettes Dance Camp
Do you love to dance? Want to learn a Lionette dance team routine? This camp will offer it all! Learn the FUNdamentals of yoga/stretch, ballet, dance team/poms, hip hop, swing/partnering and much more. Each day will include technique drills, dance terminology, and choreography for many different styles of dance in an enthusiastic atmosphere. The camp will conclude with a performance for all parents to show off what you have accomplished.
Meet the Mediums: An Introduction to the Materials and Techniques of Drawing
An introduction to drawing and art materials. This camp will introduce students of all skill levels to basic dry media techniques and approaches to drawing varying subject matter. Mediums covered include graphite, colored pencils, white charcoal, pen and ink, and sculpture. This course will allow artists to discover and feel comfortable with line work, form, structure, placement, and value. A range of interests including still life, landscape, character design, and animals can be explored.
Murder Mystery Week
Campers will enjoy various mystery activities — solve a murder mystery, watch a mystery film, explore campus through a scavenger hunt, and more mysterious activities!
Musical Theatre: Dare to Dream Jr. NEW Production!
Spend one exciting week learning what it takes to put on a high-spirited musical production! Campers will have a show-stopping good time learning all aspects of a musical production — staging, prop and costume development, singing, acting, and dancing. This camp culminates in a full-blown performance for family and friends.
A Splash of Inspiration: The Basics and Essentials of Watercolors NEW
This camp will introduce students to the colorful world of watercolor painting. The focus will be on helping students become comfortable with watercolor techniques and enjoying the process of painting. Developing basic drawing skills will also be practiced and emphasized. The basic mediums for this course will include graphite, watercolor, and some inking techniques. Students will learn about topics including drawing from observation, the foundations of color, and brush basics. Weather permitting, students may have the opportunity to paint outdoors from life “en plein air” during the week session.
Women in Sciences & Engineering: Artificial Intelligence (WISE AI)
WISE AI camp is not just about technology—it’s also about embracing what makes us uniquely human. As students navigate the ever-changing landscape of AI and technology, they will discover the importance of empathy, creativity, and ethical decision-making. They will explore how to harness the power of technology while remaining true to their values and humanity.
