Surveying Career Summit

Wednesday, October 16, 10:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

Did you know that Penn State Wilkes-Barre offers the only 4-year Surveying Engineering program in Pennsylvania? 

Students from across the area are invited to join us for a day of career exploration about the surveying profession. This is an opportunity to network with Penn State Wilkes-Barre students currently enrolled in our Surveying Engineering program (2- and 4-year degrees) and hear from employers about the possibilities that exist after earning your degree.

Penn State Day Open House

Saturday, October 19, 9:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.

Want to know what it’s like to be a Penn Stater? Join us on campus to explore all the options and opportunities. Here are just a few of the aspects of Penn State Wilkes-Barre you’ll learn about during this event:

  • Degree options: Complete one of our two- or four-year programs at Penn State Wilkes‑Barre or start your four-year degree here and finish at another Penn State campus, like University Park (the 2+2 Plan).
  • Affordability: 91% of our students receive financial assistance, including scholarships.  
  • Campus life: Intercollegiate athletics. Clubs and activities. An Honors Program focused on interactive and challenging coursework, service, and enrichment opportunities. There are many ways to get involved—and most importantly, to make your mark here.

Students are invited to join us for a day of hands-on STEAM activities and career exploration at Penn State Wilkes-Barre. Session topics will include Chemistry, Engineering, Information Technology, Math, and Surveying Engineering. Lunch will be provided.
