After receiving her diploma from Chancellor Kristin Woolever, Penn State Brandywine biology graduate Maddie Malfara took a moment to thank family, friends and faculty members for their support. In addition to being a member of the campus' softball team, Malfara was a Schreyer Honors Scholar who conducted research alongside Assistant Professor of Biology Megan Povelones.
The LGBTQA Student Resource Center offers multiple scholarships and awards to students and faculty who are interested in and have shown a commitment to the Penn State LGBTQ+ community. On April 12, the center presented its scholarship and award recipients for the 2019-2020 academic year.
Penn State Wilkes-Barre held its 30th annual Celebration of Academic Excellence on April 25 at the Hayfield House on campus. Hosted by Academic Affairs, the event recognized students who have excelled in their academic endeavors throughout the year.
