The Hayfield Award for Innovation
The purpose of this award is to recognize and reward an outstanding member of our campus community, or a campus team, who has made a significant contribution to the campus through innovation by initiating a new program, activity or service. Such a contribution should produce positive results in efficiency and effectiveness and/or advancement in meeting objectives or goals of the campus. Such a contribution should involve overcoming challenges by utilizing or implementing new approaches or technologies. The award might be given for endeavors such as thinking “outside the box”, changes that result in cost savings for the campus, or improving a process or procedure.
Eligibility
All full-time or part-time faculty and staff, or a group or team of employees of Penn State Wilkes-Barre is eligible to receive this award.
Evaluation Criteria
The Innovation Award is judged on the basis of significance and impact to the campus and creativity of the contribution.
