Local high school students exhibited their artwork during the sixth annual High School Art Exhibit at Penn State Wilkes-Barre’s Friedman Art Gallery. The exhibit ran from Dec. 5, 2024 through Jan. 31, 2025. For the exhibit, local high school art teachers were asked to select and submit some of their best student artwork. The Friedman Art Gallery displayed more than 60 examples of original local high school student artwork in the following categories: two-dimensional drawings and paintings; photography; and three-dimensional artwork. Participating schools included Lake-Lehman, Crestwood, Dallas, Wilkes-Barre Area Creative and Performing Arts Academy, and Sue Hand’s Imagery.
