- Organize the material.
- Intend to remember.
- Test yourself repeatedly.
- Use a variety of techniques:
- Use several senses: read silently, read aloud, and write out the material.
- Use keywords as reminders.
- Use catchwords and catchphrases.
- Use several sessions to remember; don’t rely on just one sitting. (In other words—DON’T CRAM!)
- Over-learn the material.
- Study just before going to bed, and then review in the morning.
