Visit Penn State Wilkes-Barre and we will waive your application fee! Here’s how:
Step 1: Create a MyPennState profile. Go to admissions.psu.edu and create a MyPennState profile. Make note of your MyPennState ID. It will look something like "xyz1234."
Step 2: Schedule your campus visit. Make an appointment for an individual visit, or register for one of our admissions events.
Step 3: Fill out your application. Go to admissions.psu.edu and fill out your Penn State application using your MyPennState ID. Refer to your unofficial high school transcript to complete the Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR) portion of the application. When you get to the screen that asks for your credit card information, STOP. Do not enter any payment information; just save your application (don’t submit it).
Step 4: Visit the Penn State Wilkes-Barre campus. Be our guest at an Admissions appointment or event, and we’ll use your MyPennState ID to waive your fee.
Step 5: Submit your application. After you come home from your visit, go back to admissions.psu.edu and complete and submit your application.
