Wilkes-Barre professor’s teaching is inspired by her mother’s care for others

In many ways, Melody Sussman has inspired the core values and teaching philosophy of her daughter, Associate Teaching Professor of Rehabilitation and Human Services Melisa Littleton. Littleton, who serves as the program coordinator for rehabilitation and human services at Penn State Wilkes-Barre, decided to go into the human services field due to her mother’s influence.

Penn State Wilkes-Barre to exhibit artwork from current, prior students

Penn State Wilkes-Barre’s Friedman Art Gallery will display a new exhibit that features artwork by students enrolled in past Penn State Wilkes-Barre art courses, including some artwork that was created by students enrolled in art classes at the campus more than 25 years ago. Organizers hope to identify the artists behind those pieces.
