Penn State Wilkes-Barre held its annual scholarship dinner on Oct. 19, recognizing donors and bringing them together with campus students who have received scholarships.
At an event held on Oct. 31, leaders from the Student Philanthropy Network announced that the class of 2024 has voted to create the University Park Undergraduate Association Basic Needs Endowment as their class gift. The fund will provide sustained support for students facing hardships in pursuit of their degree.
Penn State Wilkes-Barre recently hosted a regional sustainability meeting for Penn State’s Commonwealth Campuses, which brought participants from throughout northeastern Pennsylvania together to share sustainability goals, best practices, ideas and successes.
