Idea TestLab, a program sponsored by the Penn State Wilkes-Barre, Hazleton and Lehigh Valley LaunchBoxes, has contributed to the success of two growing small businesses. An opportunity for members of the community to explore the viability of their business ideas, the program is starting a new, virtual session in the fall, at no cost.
Janelle Drach has been hired as director of campus development at Penn State Wilkes-Barre, Chancellor and Chief Academic Officer Lynda Goldstein announced.
The University Staff Advisory Council (USAC) began its new term for the 2023-24 year on Aug. 1, with new leadership, committee chairs and 12 new members joining the slate of existing council members.
Penn State Wilkes-Barre will host a “Spend a Summer Day” open house on campus Wednesday, Aug. 9, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. for prospective students to learn about becoming a Penn Stater. Attendees will tour campus with Lion Ambassadors, hear about the application process, academics and athletics, have lunch and play yard games.
