Beginning Thursday, September 17th and spanning five weeks, Penn State Wilkes-Barre's Continuing Education will be offering Conversational Spanish.
Penn State Wilkes-Barre offers courses for those who interact with Spanish-speaking employees in the workplace, and who are seeking basic conversational Spanish skills for use in their day-to-day communications. It is expected that participants will have no Spanish training or limited Spanish education that has been forgotten.

On Friday, July 10th, The Penn State Wilkes-Barre Alumni Constituent Society hosted its 20th Annual "Masters" Golf Tournament at Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club in Mountaintop. The tournament raised approximately $6,000, used to support a variety of programs for Penn State Wilkes-Barre students including the Student Mentor Program, Academic Excellence Awards, THON, and other student initiatives.
