Students who fulfill transfer requirements at Northampton Community College will be admitted to Penn State's Hazleton, Lehigh Valley, Schuylkill or Wilkes-Barre campuses under an articulation agreement.
When Penn State Wilkes-Barre needed an electrical contractor for a project this summer, the business owner who handled the project was a campus alumnus. It was a full-circle moment for Michael Terkowski, a 2008 graduate who earned his degree in information sciences technology and later became a Penn State-certified data contractor. He is the owner of Advanced Communication Solutions in Tunkhannock.
Three Penn State Wilkes-Barre students were selected as award recipients for 2024 from Arts at Hayfield, the nonprofit campus and community arts organization at Penn State Wilkes-Barre. The organization granted a total of $2,500 in academic awards to the students.
