Verena Lake, in her final year at Penn State Wilkes-Barre, was honored during the 35th annual Luzerne County Council on Adult Higher Education Outstanding Adult Learner Award reception, which was held in Hayfield House of Penn State Wilkes-Barre.
On April 8, the Friedman Observatory at Penn State Wilkes-Barre hosted a solar eclipse viewing party, attracting more than 1,500 local residents seeking a view of the unique celestial phenomenon. The event featured activities inside and outside the Nesbitt Academic Commons for children and adults.
Penn State York celebrated its 2024 spring graduates on Friday, May 3, in the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center on campus. Rebecca Mauck, pictured next to the Nittany Lion mascot, received two diplomas, having earned a bachelor of science in business as well as project and supply chain management. She is a Graham Fellow and Future Business Leader of America Collegiate Honored Graduate.
