With Northeast Pennsylvania located near two huge metropolitan areas, New York City and Philadelphia, organizations look to Project and Supply Chain Management (PSCM) professionals to acquire, produce, and deliver goods and services all over the world. This program provides the foundation of skills necessary to design and operate today’s complex management systems.
It has been estimated that well over half of all activities in modern corporations are project based. From developing a new product to constructing a new building, the list of efforts that organizations must plan, manage, and deliver (ideally on time and under budget) is nearly endless. At the same time, globalization creates a growing need for professionals who can effectively manage complex supply chains.
The Project and Supply Chain Management degree program helps to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities in project management. It emphasizes the integration of manufacturing and service operations, logistics, purchasing, and distribution—the functions that enable organizations to cultivate value-creating supply chain networks.
Students have the opportunity to earn an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) certificate with SAP program by taking three PSCM courses, including MIS 404, SCM 445, and SCM 460.
