March 18–April 22, 2019
This exhibit features Penn State Wilkes-Barre student work from two classes in the fall 2018 semester.
In the ART H 112: Renaissance to Modern Art, students studied various types of modern art and painting techniques. The class discussed environmental art and how to utilize recycled materials to create art. With recycled bottle caps (in a variety of sizes from all types of bottles), recycled cardboard, some paint, and glue, class members created their own unique creative art project.
Students in the INART 1: The Arts class studied various types of art and painting techniques. On display are student works resulting from the class final project—creating their own interpretations of the painting “In The Midst Of Winter” while following the painting instructions provided by the artist, Bob Ross.
