The Friedman Art Gallery is displaying over 50 original artworks by local high school students. Art teachers were invited to select and submit some of their best student artwork for the exhibit. Two-dimensional drawings and paintings, photography, and three-dimensional artwork is on display.
Participating schools included:
- The Creative And Performing Arts Academy (CAPAA)
- Crestwood High School
- Lake-Lehman Area High School
- Sue Hand’s Imagery
- Wyoming Valley West High School

In addition to the art exhibit, the Friedman Art Gallery hosted the 4th annual “Celebration of the Arts” on December 8, 2022. This included a lunchtime holiday concert provided by the Wyoming Valley West Chamber Strings. During the program, the musicians and exhibit artists in attendance were introduced. This event was open to other local artists, family, friends, and campus staff, faculty and students. After the program, light snacks and drinks were provided.
