Art teachers from several different schools in our area submitted more than fifty of their best student artworks for our Second Annual High School Art Show in the Friedman Art Gallery. Participating schools include:
- Lake Lehman High School
- The Creative and Performing Arts Academy from the Wilkes-Barre Area School District
- Sue Hand’s Imagery
- Social Fabric Collective
- Tunkhannock Area High School
- Wyoming Valley West High School
On Thursday, December 6 the Friedman Art Gallery will be hosting a Celebration of the Arts in the Barry Auditorium (AC-103):
12:15–1:00 pm: Holiday musical performance by the Wyoming Valley West Small Chamber Orchestra
1:00–1:30 pm: Reception for artists, musicians, and guests
This event is open to the public; students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend!
