Media on Campus
The Pennsylvania State University is a land-grant, public institution; therefore, Commonwealth Campuses are public property, including the Penn State Wilkes-Barre campus. We welcome all media on campus but do ask that you follow our Public Safety Policies and Procedures for your visit.
- While the campus is public, we do encourage media to stay clear of academic spaces (Nesbitt Academic Commons, Science Center, Bell Center for Technology, and Athletics & Recreation Building) while classes are occurring to respect our students’ educational experiences.
- If you are aware of your visit with adequate lead time, please contact Karen Gallia to ensure that Police and Public Safety are notified.
- When visiting campus, please proceed first to Police and Public Safety located in Hayfield House Room 111 (off of the stone courtyard). Provide the officer on duty with your media credentials, name, affiliation, visit purpose and plan.
