Beginning Spring 2013, Penn State Wilkes-Barre Continuing Education will be offering two Real Estate Licensing Preparation Courses at both the Penn State Northern Tier Center in Towanda as well as the Penn State Wilkes-Barre campus, located in Lehman.
The first course, Real Estate Fundamentals, will be taught on Tuesdays running February 5th through April 9th from 6:00-9:00p.m. Real Estate Fundamentals will be the foundation for the study of real estate in Pennsylvania, covering language, principals, and laws that govern the business.
The second course, Real Estate Practices, will be taught on Thursdays running February 7th through April 11th from 6:00-9:00p.m. Real Estate Practice will be an introduction to all facets of the real estate business with emphasis on the role of a real estate agent in residential brokerage.
The registration fee for each course is $280 per person. One textbook is used for both courses and the cost is included in the course price. Courses are approved by the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission and are required to sit for the Real Estate Salesperson's Examination. The registration deadline is January 25, 2013.
