At this meeting you will receive all of the information you need to wrap up your final semester at Penn State Wilkes-Barre. All graduating seniors are expected to attend the Countdown to Graduation meeting.

Say cheese! Dress in your best professional attire and your cap and gown for a free portrait. Need a photo for your LinkedIn profile and the digital commencement program? Here’s you chance! Graduates will receive one free retouched digital file for social media and can purchase additional photos taken by Earl & Sedor.
Need attire? Career Services has you covered! Visit our Lending Closet at least one week before the event to find the perfect professional outfit.
Students may schedule a 15-minute time slot for a professional portrait taken in business attire, cap and gown, or both. Just go to the registration page, click on March 19 on the calendar, and you will be presented with time slots you can select.

Virtual Résumé Critiques
Week of April 13–17
Any graduating senior can schedule a virtual résumé critique during the week of April 13. Email your résumé in Microsoft Word format to Karen Beruck in Career Services with “Graduate Résumé Critique” in the subject line. Check out résumé writing tips and samples in Penn State’s Career Guide.
Commencement Rehearsal

Commencement rehearsal is mandatory. All graduates who have earned academic distinction will receive an academic distinction cord to wear at commencement. Immediately after the rehearsal, join your campus community for the Grad Finale: a celebration of your upcoming graduation.

Graduating seniors (+ two guests) are invited to attend this event where you will receive information, get answers to last-minute questions regarding graduation and commencement, and learn about the Penn State Alumni Association. Graduating seniors will receive a Penn State Wilkes-Barre graduate t-shirt and more. Food, fun, and networking all in one place. Watch your Penn State email for more information and invitation in mid-March. RSVP required.
