Studying molecular structures of conducting polymers

Enrique Gomez, Ralph Colby and Scott Milner are working to design the molecular structures of conducting polymers for applications in flexible electronics. The work is focused on predicting fundamental polymeric properties, such as the stiffness of the polymer chain and other physical and chemical properties.

Nittany Lions shine during opening week of Rio Olympics

Penn State student-athletes have shined during the opening week of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Eleven Nittany Lions across seven teams have competed thus far, with four more set to begin action next week, as well as one former student-athlete who is coaching. Former Nittany Lion fencing All-American Miles Chamley-Watson earned the 30th Olympic medal by a Penn State student-athlete, as he helped the United States men’s foil team win the bronze medal Friday (Aug. 12).

New students, those in University housing must submit immunization records

Students who are new to Penn State and all students living in University housing are reminded that they must submit their immunization records using myUHS through a new three-step process. As part of this process, students who do not submit their immunization records prior to Sept. 15 will be unable to register for spring 2017 classes.
