TRIO Student Support Services Receives Grant Renewal

Professor Invites YOU to Study Lizard Behavior

Many people encounter salamanders in Pennsylvania, but only the lucky few have the chance to see lizards. There are only four native species of lizards in Pennsylvania. One of these is the eastern fence lizard, Sceloporus undulatus. Dr. Renee Rosier, assistant professor of biology, uses these lizards to research behavioral development and the consequences of early-life environments on growth, survival, and reproduction.

Continuing Education Offers Workforce Development Courses

The Department of Continuing Education at Penn State Wilkes-Barre and co-sponsor The Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce proudly announces the fall personal enrichment film & discussion series schedule. Penn State Wilkes-Barre is partnering with R/C Wilkes-Barre Movies 14 in Downtown Wilkes-Barre to host a film and discussion series exploring Northeast Pennsylvania in Hollywood: The Adventures of Robin Hood, The Best Man, Small Time Crooks, Sneakers, & Miracle of the Bells.

EET Student Presents Project at Poster Symposium

On August 7th, Penn State Wilkes-Barre senior electrical engineering technology student Mike Wright of Dallas participated in the inaugural Penn State Multi-Campus Engineering Research Experience for Undergraduates held at University Park presenting his poster on Simulating Frictionless Bearings.
