The course will introduce basic skills in SOLIDWORKS:
- navigation tools
- document settings
- making and modifying sketches on planes and planar surfaces
- creating simple assemblies
- making 3D parts from scratch
- creating drawing views in an engineering drawing
- detailing and annotating an engineering drawing
The course focuses on how the SOLIDWORKS tools and commands can be utilized to complete real-world projects using hands-on activities and examples. This course covers part modeling, assembly, drawing preparation, and detailing engineering drawings.
