Legends of Hip Hop on display in Friedman Art Gallery

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — "Legends of Hip Hop," an interactive exhibit on the history of hip hop musicians, will be on display in the Friedman Art Gallery at Penn State Wilkes-Barre through Feb. 10. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

This exhibit was created with the help of the fall 2016 INART 126 History of Hip Hop class. Class members collected photographs, information and videos about 10 different legendary hip hop musicians. Each group then created QR code links to appropriate musical video examples on YouTube.

Legends of Hip Hop will be open from 10 a.m. through 3:30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The Friedman Art Gallery is a space within the Nesbitt Academic Commons for students and local artists to display their work or for the showing of private collections.
