Instructors for Continuing Education (Job #67205)
Penn State Wilkes-Barre Continuing Education is seeking instructors for non-credit courses and programs in diversity, goal setting, assertive behavior, workplace etiquette, skill and goal setting, communications skills, customer service, workplace bullying, teamwork and cooperation, self-responsibility and management, conceptual thinking skills, interpersonal styles, problem solving, flexibility and resilience, decisiveness, self-direction, learning and information skills, negotiating, leadership, and conflict management. Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience is required. Prior teaching experience is strongly preferred. Part-Time Faculty for Continuing Education (Job #67204)
Penn State Wilkes-Barre Continuing Education is seeking part-time faculty for undergraduate courses and graduate teacher education. Minimum qualifi­cations include a Master’s Degree or higher in the content area, relevant pro­fessional experience, and past teaching experience. Commitment to excellence in higher educa­tion required. Content areas include cor­porate communi­cations, business, customer relations, information technology, rehabilitation and human services, psychology, and graduate level courses in writing and literacy and ESL.
