Chamber music society to perform benefit concert at Wilkes-Barre

Penn State Wilkes-Barre will host its annual Northeastern Pennsylvania Chamber Music Society (NEPACMS) benefit concert on Jan. 10 featuring a special performance of music composed by a faculty member at the campus. "A Bohemian Winter" begins at 7 p.m. in the historic Hayfield House and is open to the public.

Irene Thomas Scholarship Awards

Five Penn State Wilkes-Barre students received scholarships from the Irene Thomas Memorial Scholarship fund, sponsored by Arts at Hayfield, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting community arts.

The Friedman Art Gallery at Penn State Wilkes-Barre has announced its new “Emerging Artists” series — occasional exhibits highlighting the work of unknown local artists. The inaugural exhibit features the artwork of MaryLou Kolojeski.
