A native of northeast Pennsylvania, Jennifer has more than 15 years of higher education experience. She began her career at Old Dominion University, where she was a senior lecturer and chief departmental advisor. She oversaw all chemistry and biochemistry majors and earned the College of Science Advisor of the Year award. After taking some time to raise her family, Jennifer returned to teaching at Catholic High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Jennifer and her dogs, Chewie and Chaka, have made it back north. The move reunites Jennifer with family—in particular her daughter, Nevin, a rising M2 at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine.  Jennifer’s son, Cade, a rising junior at Washington and Lee University, has promised to make frequent use of the Pennsylvania Turnpike for family visits and chill time with the dogs.
