Tutoring

To help keep students and staff safe, the Learning Center is not providing any drop-in services at this time. Students can make appointments for tutoring or other academic assistance by contacting Lorna Chin ([email protected], 570-675-9285) or by filling out our tutor request form. Both in-person and Zoom appointments are offered for math and writing assistance. Tutoring in other subjects is available remotely, with some in-person appointments—please ask.

Quick question? Email it to [email protected]. If possible, include a photo of any work that you have a question about. We will do our best to respond promptly.

Tutoring (by appointment) in a range of subjects is available in the Learning Center (102 Murphy), including math, science, engineering, computing, writing, and Gen Ed courses. You can get assistance with other subjects as well—just ask!

Writing assignments are an integral part of many courses. The Learning Center offers professional help through all stages of the writing process from choosing a topic through rough drafts to final copy. We can help with everything from English papers and writing projects for other courses to texts for speeches to important business letters. Good writing is an essential skill for success in college and beyond. Let us help you become a better writer!

For more information or to schedule an appointment, contact Lorna Chin, [email protected] or 675-9285.
