COVID-19: Campus Hours for Remote Learning Period

All classes for the Spring 2021 semester will be delivered remotely starting on January 19. On February 15, classes will transition to their regularly scheduled mode (Note: this date could change based on health and safety factors and guidance from the state).

Students are strongly discouraged from returning to campus, off-campus locations, and group dwellings (e.g., apartments and fraternities) during the remote period. Students who must visit campus before Feb. 15 are required to complete a free pre-arrival COVID-19 test with a negative test result on file before coming back to campus. During the remote learning period, the campus will be open, but with amended access to buildings and resources. Students will not have access to Hayfield House, the Science Building, or the Murphy Student Center. However, there are still remote learning spaces available for use as quiet study areas, as well as computer labs, in both the Center for Technology and the Academic Commons, including the Nesbitt Library. During this time period, students are required to sign their name and arrival time on the sign-in sheets placed at the entrances of each building.

Please note: It is not necessary to come to campus to use computer lab software; lab software can be used from home using WebLabs, a service that provides remote access to campus computer labs.
