Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) is here to stay. Discover some of the tools that are available for educators, and how to use those tools to reinforce the core knowledge and best practices that you are already implementing in your classroom!
Note: Educators who complete this course will receive sixteen Act 48 hours.
Course Overview
This 16-hour course was designed with educators in mind. Learn at your own pace, at a time and place that are convenient to you. This course, designed by former and current educators, will challenge you to explore different A.I. tools, expand and refresh your curriculum content and classroom practices, and examine ethical and responsible uses of artificial intelligence in your classroom.
- Learn about the different types of A.I.
- Explore ChatGPT as a foundation of knowledge
- Learn about accessibility and universal design for learning
- Explore multi-disciplinary lesson plan samples and menus of A.I. tools
- Communicate with students, parents, and peers about A.I. use in the classroom
- Get suggestions for implementing A.I. policies for your classroom
- Create a reflective lesson plan that utilizes A.I. tools as a supplemental resource for student learning
