Ethical Considerations for the CRS Practitioner

This 6-hour ethics workshop is designed to meet one of the educational requirements for recertification as either a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) or a Certified Family Recovery Specialist (CRFS), as set forth by the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB).

Training Overview

This course will cover the following:

  • History of ethical considerations in human service practice
  • Interpretation of a variety of ethical considerations utilized by professionals
  • Analysis and assessment difficulties associated with maintaining the highest ethical standards in practice
  • Development of policies that demonstrate services are ethics focused
  • Identification of ethical dilemmas faced by practitioners
