Penn State Wilkes-Barre students:
Welcome to the Fall 2021 semester at Penn State Wilkes-Barre! Full on-campus activities, including in-person teaching, learning and working, are underway for the fall 2021 semester. There are a few precautions we all must take to prevent COVID-19 from spreading and to protect the health of our campus community.
Vaccinations. Currently, Penn State University is strongly encouraging all students to get vaccinated for COVID-19. Students who receive the COVID-19 immunization should submit their vaccination record to the University through myUHS.
Testing. Students that have not received the Covid-19 vaccine are required to test weekly. Free Vault test kits are available in the Health Office, ARB room 119 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Students who fail to test weekly will receive an email with a warning and a referral to the Office of Student Conduct. Disciplinary actions range from registration holds up to suspension from the University.
If you have had a positive COVID-19 test, you should upload positive test results by logging into MyUHS. Do not upload negative test results to MyUHS. Learn more about testing, contact tracing, and quarantine and isolation.
Masking. Penn State is requiring all students, faculty, staff and visitors — including those who are vaccinated and unvaccinated — to wear masks indoors at all campuses. Learn more about masking requirements.
Thank you for doing your part to keep you and your campus community safe!
