Penn State Wilkes-Barre Students:
Starting spring 2021, Penn State University is requiring all students to have a negative COVID-19 test on file by February 15th before we resume in-person instruction, campus services, and events. Below is further information and resources to assist you to be compliant with this new requirement:
- Free COVID-19 Testing. Students can order COVID-19 tests from Vault, the University’s testing vendor, to be delivered to their home address. To order a free test, log into the Know Your Status portal. This portal also allows you to monitor your test results for pre-arrival and surveillance testing.
- COVID-19 Requirement Checklist. This checklist will answer some of your questions regarding the required pre-arrival testing. It also provides a handy timeline on when to have the test ordered and completed before the February 15 deadline.
- Submitting positive 3rd-party test results. MyUHS provides an easy way to upload student medical records. If you have had a third-party COVID-19 test, you can upload positive test results by logging into MyUHS. Do not upload negative test results to MyUHS. Negative tests on file must be done through Vault, the University’s testing vendor. Log into Know Your Status to order the free COVID test.
We are still observing the campus-wide masking and social distancing policy both inside and outside of buildings. We are also continuing the required random testing of students and staff upon our February 15 return. All of this is to ensure the safety of our Penn State Wilkes-Barre family, so we know you will continue to do your part by adhering to these policies.
