Welcome Day and First-Year Engagement

Welcome Day

Welcome Day is a program offered for entering students immediately before the start of the fall semester. Welcome Day is a student-facilitated program, led by upperclass students who will assist new students with their transition to Penn State Wilkes-Barre. Here first-year and transfer students will have the opportunity to meet returning students as well as faculty and staff in small group settings. A special program is offered to Adult Students that targets their special interests.

For more information on Welcome Day, please contact the Student Activities Coordinator at 570-675-9284. You may also contact the Director of Student Services and Engagement, Wanda Ochei, at 570-675-9225 or send email to [email protected].
