Summer Youth Camps

This summer Penn State Wilkes-Barre is offering 35 youth camps during the weeks of June 26-30 and July 10-14, 2017, for students entering grades 1-12. We invite you to join us here at the beautiful Penn State Wilkes-Barre campus! Your child will learn, make new friends, and have tons of fun. We offer art, nature, theatre, technology (Minecraft, Scratch, Lego Land®, and more), math, science, writing, sewing, crafts, sports (Golf, Soccer, Volleyball), outdoor camps and more. We have something for everyone including new camps and many of our most popular camps.  Register early, and we look forward to seeing you this summer.

The primary goal of our Summer Youth Camps is to provide challenging, educational activities for students of various grade levels. We are devoted to sparking an interest in science, technology, the arts, and healthy sports training. Our unique approach emphasizes creative learning and adventure through projects, field trips, experiments, game-play, and numerous hands-on activities.

Our instructors are uniquely qualified and have had their credentials approved at many levels of the University to ensure the best for your children. They are experienced professionals who will ensure safe, educational fun.

Limited scholarships are available and will be awarded based on financial need and are given on a first-come, first-served basis until the funds have been depleted. Please call our office at 570-675-9253 to request an application. There are limited number of scholarships for certain camps so not everyone will be granted their 1st choice camp.

Please read the letter from our Director of Continuing Education.
