Penn State Wilkes-Barre Medals Four Times at PSU Fayette Invitational

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre cross-country team got off to a fast start this season, claiming four medals at the Penn State Fayette Invitational. In the women's race, sophomore Emily Pszeniczny finished third overall, while freshman Ashley Oliver from Wilkes-Barre, PA finished sixth overall.  In the men's race, freshman Jason Carey finished first overall by a large margin, while freshman Shane McCrory finished eighth overall. The men's team finished second overall in the team competition.

Golf Team Finishes Fifth in Schuylkill Invitational

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre golf team traveled to Schuylkill to compete in the Schuylkill Invitational (PSUAC) on Wednesday. The Mountain Lions finished 5th overall out of 7 PSUAC schools. Senior Matt Boozer (New Bethlehem, PA) finished with a low of 79. Freshman Jeff Carter (Dallas, PA) finished the day with a score of 87, while freshman Matt Kocher (Hanover Township, PA) shot an 89.  Sophmore Rob Riley scored a 92, sophomore Billy Grey had a score of 98 and freshman Mike Stelacone (Lothian, MD) finished with a score of 103.

Engineering Open House To Be Held On Campus

On Thursday, October 3rd, Penn State Wilkes-Barre's engineering department welcomes local high school students onto the Lehman campus for our 12th annual Engineering Open House. Held for many years at Penn State Wilkes-Barre, the Engineering Open House provides students who have an interest in an engineering field an opportunity to not only to hear what Penn State Wilkes-Barre has to offer but actually see what they can do with an engineering degree.

Wilkes-Barre Loses to Hazleton

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre women's volleyball team (0-3) in PSUAC competition, lost their match against Penn State Hazleton (6-25, 13-25, 10-25) on Wednesday. The Lady Mountain Lions next play at Penn College on Monday at 7:00 p.m.  

Wilkes-Barre Loses Home Match to Brandywine

Penn State Wilkes-Barre (2-2) soccer lost a home match against Penn State Brandywine on Saturday afternoon 4-2.   Wilkes-Barre's goals were scored by Mark Bugelholl and Eric Whited. Wilkes-Barre plays next at Penn State Greater Allegheny on Saturday 9/21 at 1:00 p.m.

Wilkes-Barre Falls to Worthington Scranton

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre women's volleyball team (0-2) lost their match against Penn State Worthington Scranton (25-7, 25-16 and 25-10) on Saturday morning.  The Lady Mountain Lions next play at Penn State Hazleton on Wednesday at 7pm.

Volleyball Loses Season Opener to Penn State York

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre women's volleyball team (0-1) lost their home season opening match against Penn State York (25-7, 25-4 and 25-6) on Wednesday night. This year's team consists of all first year players. The Lady Mountain Lions next face Penn State Worthington Scranton at home on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. 

Wilkes-Barre Defeats Worthington Scranton

Penn State Wilkes-Barre (2-1) soccer won a home match against Penn State Worthington Scranton on Tuesday afternoon 4-0.  Wilkes-Barre's goals were scored by sophomores Mark Bugelholl and David Cavalieri, junior Raul Ortiz, and freshman Zamir Vallecillo. Wilkes-Barre, 1-1 in PSUAC, next plays at home against Penn State Brandywine on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

Men's Golf Finishes Fifth in Penn College Tournament

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre golf team traveled to Williamsport to compete in the Penn College Tournament (PSUAC) on Monday. The Mountain Lions finished fifth overall out of nine PSUAC schools. Freshman Jeff Carter (Dallas, PA) finished the day with a score of 80, while junior Zach Aciukewicz (Dallas, PA) finished with an 87.  Senior Matt Boozer (New Bethlehem, PA) finished with an 91, freshman Matt Kocher (Hanover Township, PA) shot a 102 and freshman Mike Stelacone (Lothian, MD) finished with a score of 106.

Penn State Wilkes-Barre Golf Opens Season at Mont Alto

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre golf team competed at the PSUAC Penn State Mont Alto Tournament (Penn National-Founders Course, Fayetteville, PA) on Wednesday. The Mountain Lions finished fifth overall out of nine PSUAC schools.  Junior Zach Aciukewicz (Dallas, PA) and freshman Jeff Carter (Dallas, PA) finished the day with a score of 84.
